A Weekend Recap

This weekend I have been looking forward to for several months.  Every year on Memorial Day weekend a group of people get together and raise money for our local Ruitan club by having a wagon train.  On Saturday we leave out early and ride 22 miles and on Sunday we ride about 17 miles.  The scenery is beautiful and it is great getting to see old friends and meeting new ones!

On Monday I was off of work so a group of our neighbors got together and we road about 2 hours to the local water fall (Boomer falls).  They are gorgeous.  We got to explore some old civil war caves and eat lunch underneath the waterfall.  It was a great ride until on the way back we got drenched but it was still a great time!

Thanks to those that have given their lives for our country and continue to sacrifice each and every day!
