Well Kate is turning 27 today. It's the day mom and dad brought you home from the hospital and I was no longer an only child. Instead I had a sister that according to my parents I really didn't want. To all of our fights, scratches, and getting grounded it was all worth it growing up with you!!
I know it is was the hardest one for me. It's the age where you are no longer in your young 20s but where you are getting older and have to start being a "grown up".
It's the age where all of your friends are getting married and life is becoming real. It's the time where we aren't in college anymore and the real life begins. Bills start rolling in and staying home on a friday night doesn't see so bad.
It's the age where having a real job is fun and not having to work 15 part time jobs to make ends meet.
It's the time where you find out who your real friends are and the ones that are there for you in the hard times. It's the age where you start learning that mom and dad may have known a little more than we thought they did.
It's the age where you actually call your parents for advice instead of rolling your eyes and pretending like you didn't hear what they were saying.
It's the age where you are in your prime, where you are working your butt off at a job that you love, and enjoying every moment because it is time that you will never get back!
It's to having your sister by your side on the most important day of your life. These memories last forever and will always hold a special place in your heart!
Happy Birthday Baby Tate!! Hope its a good one and to many more :-)
