I've decided to do a link up with lovely lady over at Brave Love for a Blogtember challenge. It's always a great way to add new blogging ideas and getting to meet a lot of new gals.
The first prompt is to write about ourselves in a way of "About the Author"
I'm Sarah and I'm the author or Laze L Farms "Life on the Farm" blog. I currently live on a farm with my husband and we raise dairy steers and also enjoy our three horses. Our child for right now is our 50lb blue heeler "Opy.
We have been married for just over a year and life has been great. We have had our ups and downs but its all been worth it to be where we are today.
I work full time for a furniture company doing graphic design and I absolutely love my jobs. I have several hobbies that range from photography, bible studies, riding horses, and spending time with my husband on the farm.
I started this blog as a way to share our lives on the farm and the joys that come from all the hard work. I also enjoy sharing some of my photography and other little odds and ends.
I'm hoping I can stick with the everyday blogging or at least a few times a week.
Nice to "meet" you, Sarah! I found you through the link-up on Bailey Jean's "Blog-tember Challenge." I live in the city, but have always wondered what life on a farm would be like. Now that I've found your blog, I'll get a glimpse! Glad to find your blog! Hope you have a sweet week!

DeleteCongratulations! The first year of marriage was the most fun for us (so far)! xx
ReplyDeleteYes definitely have been a lot of fun but has been a big adjustment but wouldn't trade it for anything :-)
Deletecongratulations on your first year of marriage. i've been with my husband for 14 years...married almost 6 of them...and sometimes we still feel like we are learning new things about each other!! haha.
ReplyDeleteI know its always a learning process and things are changing so it's always fun to learn new things about each other!
DeleteSaw your post on the blog challenge. My husband and I live on 5 acres actually...but no "farm" yet! So I will have to read up on your blog to see if there is anything I can learn. :) Here's my post if you want to click around: http://sewhungryformore.blogspot.com/2014/09/blog-tember-daily-posts-challenge.html
ReplyDelete5 acres is plenty of land to start a farm! You can have all types of creatures to enjoy the land. We currently have about 50 acres and there is definitely always something to do. I'll definitely check out your blog! Good luck on starting your farm :-)
Deletehi sarah! my name is britney! nice to meet you! congrats on your marriage! do you hate when people call you a newlywed when you've been married for a year? i've been married for over 2 years and they still say i'm a "newlywed". SO ANNOYING! it does not feel the same as when we were freshly married! not in a bad way lol
ReplyDeletewell i am excited to see what else you write for blog-tember!

It's not to bad still being the "newly wed" because in my family we have all been the most recent. The question that gets me most of the time is when are ya'll gonna have kids. I hear that all the time! We will be two years in May so hopefully after that we won't be the "newly weds" in the family lol.
