Monday Morning Rambles

This weekend has been a weekend of eye opening experiences, planning for the future, and being thankful for the things that I have in my life.

Friday night we celebrated a good friend of ours 30th birthday with a BBQ supper and karaoke.  It was a time of good fellowship and just some time to sit back, relax, and watch the evening unfold.

We rocked out until 3AM which does not happen very often, but when your with good friends and having a good time, time tends to fly by.  I look forward to more nights with good friends soon!

Saturday morning was a nice slow morning but didn't last long.  I was sure I wanted to clean house so I cleaned to my hearts content.

Soon after that we moved the horses into their new pasture since they have devoured ours this summer.  It's a large pasture, close to knee high in green grass, and the horses were the happiest they have been in awhile.

My 88 year old grandmother just had knee replacement surgery and is up walking around like a spring chicken so we stopped in and talked with her for awhile after dropping the horses off.

The rest of the afternoon I spent working with a good friend on photography.

Sunday morning was one of the best morning I have had in a long time.  Our church has decided and is in the works of hosting our campus as a Christian School.  The founders of the Christian School visited our church and gave their testimonies.

The testimony got my heart strings to tugging and I new God was trying to tell me something.  I've always struggled with what he wanted me to do with my life and I never knew it to be really clear.  I always place fear and doubt in front of stepping out and trusting him.  My worries are always what will someone thing, I'm not talented enough, who will want to learn something from me.

I have got to learn to get rid off all of these negatives and step out and trust him.  I'm going to stop worrying about what everyone is thinking and step out and trust God.

I've got a lot of new things coming to the photography business and it's going to be a change but it is going to be good.  It's going to be me and what God is leading me to do.  I want my photography to be for his glory and for helping others step out and find what they truly love.

With this being said, follow your heart and step out and trust God.  Quit letting the earthly fears stop you.

On a new not we welcomed this little fellow into our family.  Meet Andy.  He is a Feist and definitely has stolen our hearts the short amount of time we have had him.
